Blood Clotting Decreases Pulmonary Circulation during the Coronavirus Disease

چکیده

Spontaneous blood clotting in pulmonary circulation caused by thrombo-inflammation is one of the main mortality causes during COVID-19 disease. Blood leads to reduced and oxygenation. Lung inflammation can be evaluated with noninvasive diagnostic techniques. However, correlation severity flow has not been established. To address this question, work, we develop a multiscale model taking into account interaction local thrombus growth 1D hemodynamics vessel network. Flux reduction depending on level lung obstruction evaluated. In particular, obtains that an 5% 12% flux. The suggested approach used investigate only network but also other complex networks.

A circulation inhibitor (anti-AcG) specific for the labile factor-V of the blood-clotting mechanism.

By JOHN H. FERGUSON, CHARLES L. JOHNSTON, JR. AND DORIS A. HOWELL T HE RECENT hematobogic literature contains an increasing number of reports of hemorrhagic diathesis related to the presence of some acquired type of circulating inhibitor interfering with the blood-clotting mechanism. Stefanini and Dameshek,29 on pp. 205-213 of their book, reviewed many of the alleged types and associations with...

ROS scavenger decreases basal perfusion pressure, vasoconstriction and NO synthase activity in pulmonary circulation during pulmonary microembolism.

Two mechanisms contribute in the development of pulmonary hypertension in pulmonary embolism (PE) - obstruction of pulmonary blood vessels and vasoconstriction. We hypothesize that hypoxia, increased shear stress and/or activation of gathered leukocytes in the PE may cause a release of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Therefore our aim was to determine the influence of the ROS scavenger Tempol on...

Proteases in blood clotting.

The serine proteases, cofactors and cell-receptor molecules that comprise the haemostatic mechanism are highly conserved modular proteins that have evolved to participate in biochemical reactions in blood coagulation, anticoagulation and fibrinolysis. Blood coagulation is initiated by exposure of tissue factor, which forms a complex with factor VIIa and factor X, which results in the generation...

Blood Clotting Enzymology

Dr. Nelson is an endoscopist, and his technique involves introducing a small Geiger counter through an esophagoscope (or sigmoidoscope) and recording counting rates over the surface of the organ being examined in a patient who has received 500 uc. Influence of blood temperature on the pulmonary circulation.

DURING physiologic studies of total body perfusion we encountered unexpected fluctuations of pulmonary vascular pressures which apparently were related to changes of the blood temperature. The literature does not describe adequately controlled experiments concerned with the effect of blood temperature on pulmonary hemodynaniics. We therefore devised and investigated a preparation in which the i...
